About
Emily is a graduate from the University of West Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with a specialization on Acting.
She has been involved with the arts since she was a child. Emily started singing in school talent shows, was a part of choir for years, and was even a part of a short-lived acapella group at school. As she grew, she found her joy in musical theatre, and began performing in local theatres as well as high school shows. Emily decided to pursue a degree in computer engineering, but after two semesters she pivoted her plans back to focusing on acting. She’s very happy with her decision.
Emily is determined to tell stories. She believes that acting is a divine experience—a personal connection between the actor and the character.
“Love is the key to acting. Putting yourself in someone’s shoes and just fighting to know them. Fighting to reach out in some way and tell them you’ve got their back. Acting requires a lot of humanity. It’s a longing for it.”
